We are currently searching for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and detail-oriented Director of Development to join our leadership team. Note: This position will be a Part-Time position. The exact number of hours per week is flexible. As the Director of Development for the community, this position has the responsibility to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct all philanthropic efforts and programs within the context of Foulkeways mission and philosophies. The Director of Development will develop Foulkeways’ philanthropic vision and will promote a culture of philanthropy among Foulkeways residents, their families, our board and staff. The Director of Development will cultivate relationships with all stakeholders, especially residents, to encourage and celebrate gift giving to promote Foulkeways’ short-term and long-term goals. In addition, the Director of Development will appeal to outside foundations, vendors and the greater community to keep Foulkeways at the forefront of new ideas, technology and projects. Responsibilities of the Director of Development are as follows (these are not inclusive of all job responsibilities): • Develop philanthropy program, as well as communications plan and supporting materials • Cultivate positive relationships with company stakeholders • Develop and maintain lists of potential donors • Manage the receipt and administration of deferred gifts, such as bequests, gift annuities and trusts • Report to the Board and Fund Development Committee • Present Development-related information to stakeholders through committee participation, group presentations, internal publications, etc. • Complete administrative tasks as needed The Director of Development of Foulkeways will promote the mission and values of Foulkeways and will assist in the creation of a culture that celebrates diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Qualifications Required: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required • Possess thorough knowledge of charitable giving tax law • Minimum 5 years prior development experience in a health care setting Qualifications Preferred: • Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred • Excellent computer skills with fundraising software experience preferred Do you think you are the perfect fit for this position?
