About the Program

Are you eager to help others but aren’t sure how your skills fit into the world of health and human services? This internship program will give you the chance to explore your interests by connecting you with experienced professionals in the industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience and see how your work contributes to the well-being of the individuals your assigned organization serves. Along the way, you’ll build relationships, learn from mentors, and add your own energy and perspective to the meaningful work happening in the field!

Kendal at Oberland: CARF Preparatory Internship | The ideal candidate would be someone studying the field of Health Information Systems and or Registered Record Administration. They would benefit from this internship by gaining experience in policy and procedures to be in compliance with the standards for our 5-year reaccreditation with CARF.

Foxdale Village: Administrator -in Training | Foxdale Village has designed a mini-Administrator in Training style summer internship program. The intern will have the opportunity to work directly with the Skilled Care administrator on a daily basis as their primary preceptor and overall supervision.

Kendal at Oberland: CARF Preparatory Internship | The ideal candidate would be someone studying the field of Neurocognitive Psychology or has a strong interest in learning about dementia. They would benefit from this internship by gaining experience in hands on experience through implementing a 5-week memory enhancement course and implementing programming designed for those with cognitive loss.
