2025 marked a surge in union organizing activity, with labor unions aggressively targeting employers in the healthcare industry. Last year, unions won 88% of union election petitions within the healthcare industry, compared to 60% in the construction and manufacturing industries. Long-term care employers can successfully combat union organizing campaigns through proactive strategies. This presentation will provide practical guidance on union avoidance.
